Cancer Support Services

Impetus Cancer Advocacy – Cancer Advocacy is a free service funded by Macmillan providing one-to-one support for people who are affected by cancer.

Macmillan Nurses – All Macmillan nurses are registered with at least five years’ experience, including two or more years in cancer or palliative care. They have completed specialist courses in pain and symptom management, and psychological support.

NCCS – NCCS’ mission is to advocate for quality cancer care for all people touched by cancer. Founded by and for cancer survivors, NCCS created the widely accepted definition of survivorship and defines someone as a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis and for the balance of life.

The Martlets – We support people living through a terminal illness to live their lives to the full. We’re also here for family and friends – providing practical care and emotional support when it matters most.
