To be able to report my details, have a lovely caring Dr like Dr Howard call me, then send the prescription to my chemist blew my mind. Please continue with this post Covid as it has to be the way forward. For the majority of the community its quick, easy to follow and efficient.” – Anonymous

Average GP Earnings

All GP Practices are required to declare the means earning (e.g. average pay) for GP’s working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GP’s working in the Trinity Medical Centre in the last financial year was £77,332 before Tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GP’s and 15 part time GP’s and 0 locum GP’s who worked in the Practice for more than six months.

NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised and the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method  for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used for any judgement of GP earnings, nor to make any comparisons with other practices.
